Our Beliefs

  • We believe the Holy Bible as originally written was inspired by God and is without error.  It is the complete revelation of His will, the center of true Christian unity, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds and religious opinions should be tried.

  • We believe there is one and only one true and living God, infinite in holiness and power, existing eternally in three Persons:  the Father, Jesus the only begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, died on the cross for man’s redemption, and raised from the dead with a glorified body.  We believe He shall return in Person to judge the world and establish His Kingdom of righteousness.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is fully divine.  He convicts the world of sin, calls men to the Savior, and indwells in every believer to guide, teach and empower him.

  • We believe man to be the special creation of God, made in His image, and endowed with freedom of choice.  Through his disobedience man brought sin into the human race, and his posterity are born with a sinful nature, separated from the life of God.  Therefore, as soon as they are capable of moral action, they become transgressors and are under condemnation, and can be saved only by the atoning work of Jesus.

  • We believe salvation is offered freely to all who repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.  All who believe in Jesus will be born again of the Holy Spirit, and there is no salvation apart from faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord.

  • We believe in the universal Church consisting of all of the redeemed people of all the ages, and associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel.  We believe also in the local church, as an autonomous congregation of baptized believers, operated under the Lordship of Christ through democratic processes, and led by pastors or elders chosen from godly men.  The church is for the purpose of exercising spiritual gifts, observing the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and bringing physical and spiritual healing to the world.  Baptism should be a prerequisite to the privileges of church membership, and should be by immersion except for reasons of health.  Believers participating in the Lord’s Supper should be either already baptized or desiring of receiving baptism at the earliest possible date.

  • 我們相信原文聖經是神所默示的，無任何錯漏。它是神旨意完整的啟示，基督徒合一所繫，亦為人類一切行為、信條、宗教意念、裁判的最高標準。

  • 我們相信又真又活，獨一的神。衪有無限的聖潔與權能，並且以聖父、獨生子耶穌、聖靈的位格自古永存。

  • 我們相信耶穌是全神全人，由聖靈感孕，童貞女馬利亞所生，為人的救贖死在十字架上，並從死裏復活，有榮耀的身體。我們相信衪將親身再臨，審判世人，建立衪公義的國度。

  • 我們相信聖靈是全然神聖。衪叫世人知罪，呼召人到救主跟前，並住在每個信徒之內，引導、教誨、加能力與他。

  • 我們相信人是神的特殊創造，是照神的形象所造，並賦與自由意志。人因為背叛神，把罪帶入了人類。他的後裔自此有生來的罪性，與神的生命隔絕。所以當人長大能作善惡的選擇時，他便因過犯而受責備，只有靠耶穌的代贖才能得救。

  • 我們相信救恩是無條件的給與一切悔改接受耶穌為主和救主的人，凡信耶穌的都從聖靈重生。除了耶穌以外，別無拯救。

  • 我們相信普世的教會，函括了歷代以來一切蒙救贖的人，憑著信心的約和福音裏的團契，彼此交通。我們也相信地方的教會，作為一個受洗信眾的自理群體，在基督主權之下以民主方式運作，並從敬虔長者中選擇牧師、長老為領導。教會的目的為要叫會眾運用屬靈恩賜，遵守主餐和洗禮，並將屬靈和身體的醫治帶給世人。洗禮為獲享教會會員特權的條件。若非因健康理由，洗禮應為浸下水的浸禮。凡守主餐的，應為已受洗或願意盡快受洗的信徒。
